The Herd
Here at GouldWood Farm's we have quite the residents, we have three beautiful horses that have laid their claim not to just us as their humans but the farm is theirs as well.
We have owned Tanga, our Bay and White Pinto mare for five amazing years. We first adopted her from Hayburner Haven in Langley BC. When I saw her beautiful photo I just couldn't say no. She was the start of my Equestrian Journey - If you'd like to follow along with that as well please see Taylor's Equestrain Journey!
We also own Tanga's last foal, Thea - a 8 year old Bay and White Pinto mare. She is the last foal Tanga had, whom we were given back in BC.
We moved from Ontario to BC, and BC to Manitoba - When we moved we couldn't leave out babies behind, as Lilo and Stitch stated "Ohana, mean's family and family mean's nobody get's left behind."
Once here in Manitoba, I came across an ad on Facebook just causally looking to see what is out there for horses and I came across our third members ad. Hazel a 12 year old American Saddlebred Mare - who was being sent to Auction as she had heaves and ulcers - Later after spending time with her we realized that she didn't have either that she as just missing a tail (She has a short tail, so we created her a tail) and from what we can tell she was allergic to a bug spray. She has a forever home with us here at GouldWood Farm's.
These are our Pride and Joy's here on our farm!
